The Loving Story has been awarded the prestigious John E. O’Connor Film Prize by the American Historical Association. The film will be screened at the 127th Annual Meeting in New Orleans on January 4th. We are proud to be joining John Sayles, whose work will be screened in retrospective at the event.

The Loving Story will be headed back to New York City for a special series of screenings at Symphony Space as part of Thalia Film Sundays. Screenings will occur on July 8, 15 and 22 at 6pm.
There will be a Q&A with Nancy Buirski following the July 8 and 15 screenings moderated by journalist Caryn James.

Thanks to the efforts of Crowdstarter and the support of The Fledgling Fund, The Loving Story has kicked off a special Civil Rights Belt Tour, bringing our film to communities and locations that otherwise may not have access to the film in theaters.
